Pure Balance Dog Food

So if you've been following me for a while you would know that I have been battling allergies with my dog. Well I started her on the Rachel Ray Just 6 food in Jan or Feb and let me say that it's a great food. I love the stuff! Don't get me wrong. I love that every bag goes back to help her rescue & the fact that Shelby has actually gained weight on the food and doesn't have a reaction to the food! I have a problem though. The biggest bag she sells in that food is a 14LB bag & for 17$. It's not a bad price if you only have one dog but I have two now and it's getting hard to buy a bag of food every couple weeks. My BIL had his dogs at my MIL's house one weekend. He feeds his dog & his girlfriends dog this "Pure Balance" food. I was thrilled that there is other food out there that is No Corn, No Wheat, & No Soy (Part of the MAIN reason I was feeding Shelby the Just 6.) Well I thought great you know I'd check it out. Well so I am. I am not trying the Lamb with our dogs though. It was $39.88 for a big 30LB bag of the Lamb food (What he buys). I decided to try the 30LB Bag of the Chicken. It's $31.88. If I was to buy 2 bags of the Rachel Ray it would cost me $34 before tax. I hope this new food works out as great as the Rachel Ray. There is another one of the Pure Balance I also wouldn't mind trying if I can find the big 30LB bag of it. It's a Salmon Flavored & meant for sensitive tummies. Here's to trying something new!
