I got this idea from a girlfriend of my one FIL. We were hanging stuff on their tree and i seen the puzzle piece ornament she had from one of her kids. So cute & so easy!!! You know when your kids lose the puzzle pieces to a puzzle? Instead of throwing the rest away put them to good use... :-) I actually bought this puzzle at the thrift store for dirt cheap. it was a snowy theme puzzle. As you can see it worked great for what i wanted. :-p
I had glue & popcicle sticks on hand already so i just needed puzzle pieces to finish out my project. I used hot glue with mine but white glue works too & you can be creative with the shapes. Of course you'll need ribbon/yarn or something to hang them on the tree. :) I happened to have some ribbons from some paperclip bookmarks i did a while back. I'm not sure if my boys are going to be interested in doing something like this but if we do it'll probably be another day. they're busy watching ninjago in their bedrooms and playing with a mario kart set my oldest bought for himself with his birthday money. :) We are making some salt dough ornaments tomorrow though with their cousin. :) Excited for that!!
