it's been a while since i've posted a new blog... it's been crazy busy around here as i imagine it has been everywhere else as well... we celebrated evan's 7th birthday. we had a party at chuck e cheese then did a little home thing out in guthrie with the grandparents (or great grandparents to evan and tj). i can't believe he's 7!! it feels like yesterday he was still a baby. :( man how time flies. of course his birthday brings on the reality of christmas... i'm yet again waiting till basically the last minute to shop. every year i tell myself i wont do that yet every year i do. lol evan's net book is in layaway and it has to wait till we have money to get it out (we get paid next weekend) and kirts present is also in layaway but again we have to wait till we can get money... needless to say i am actually kind of ready for the end of the year course then it's tax time which to me is my favorite time of year!!! ;-) course this year i'm not sure it'll be my favorite. i'm supossed to be changing out my car however i'm not sure if i will even be doing that. :-/ kirt wants to find a better job and i dont wanna take on a car payment until we're ready even if it's only 100$ a month that's still 100$ i dont want to risk... i think i will stick out my beast until well whenever i can. i am however putting a washer and dryer on layaway. i am DESPERATLY wanting a front loading set! my king size comforters and those pillows wash way better in front loaders... i am defently going to get another set. i've had a set before and had to get rid of it because the one place we decided to move too didnt have the room for them and well needless to say i wish i would have never gotten rid of them. i would have kept looking if it meant i could keep them. :-/ oh well. live and learn...
i am throughly enjoying having my kindle. i got it back in may and i have read so many books already but i have so many more to go! my list keeps growing too. :( i started following a new page on FB... BAD IDEA!!! it made my list grow even more. lol oh well i have no plans to change my reader and i imagine i'll have books that i wont like. if anything i do plan on eventually upgrading my kindle just not sure when that will happen right now. i wouldnt mind doing it at tax time and giving kirt mine so he can also read. ;-) but i dont know right now. he mentioned the other night that he would love to have a reader especially something that reads PDF's since i have some star wars books in PDF format... yes my kindle reads PDF but it's not very good. i seriously need like a magnifying glass to read PDF's. i can zoom in but then it makes me scroll over and i hate that... i dont like scrolling over to finish a sentence or something. :-/ I am however excited to read ghosttown from the morganville vampire series when i get it... i am also excited for bite club in may (also morganville) and i am really excited for a new sookie stackhouse book next spring!!!! book #11 Dead Reckoning comes out next spring and as soon as it's available to preorder for the kindle yeah it's mine!!! :p i am also buying a second book that goes with "kissed by an angel" trilogy. she is coming out with a new book that goes along with the first "three" books (the first one is 3n1). there is also book 11 in the works for the morganville vamps and i guess it's already got a name but we wont know till it's close to done what it'll be named. oh and dont forget house of night! their new book comes out in jan! and then there are two more books scheduled to come out i think later in the year!!! WOO!!! it'll be a year full of books. ;-) course i've still got a ton of books to read so i am going to work on those in the mean time and read my other books as they come out. i've still got a ton of freebie kindle books that i need to read as well. :-/
